Abstract

It is undeniable that technological innovations are advancing at an increasing pace, leading to ever more impactful transformations in various social sectors. In this context, the legal system, as a reflection of society, cannot remain indifferent to such changes. Thus, the Judiciary has been progressively adopting these technological tools, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI). This research, based on a literature review, analyzed the opinions and conclusions of scholars regarding the use of AI. On the one hand, greater speed, efficiency, and improved access to justice stand out; on the other, concerns are raised regarding transparency, impartiality, and algorithmic biases, especially in the drafting of judicial decisions. A common point among authors is the need for human supervision over actions carried out with artificial intelligence. In this regard, the recent CNJ Resolution Nº. 615/2025 represents significant progress toward regulating these technological innovations within the Judiciary, while upholding the fundamental principles and guarantees that govern the legal system.
