INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES ON THE TRAINING OF NEW HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS: INTEGRATIVE LITERATURE REVIEW

The influence of digital technologies on the training of new health professionals in Brazil is still very recent. These technologies have revolutionized the way healthcare professionals are trained, educated and equipped to provide care to patients. The objective of the study is to describe and compare in the literature the teaching methodology before and after digital technologies in the training of higher education professionals in the health area. This research is an integrative review of the literature, of a descriptive nature. In this way, we sought to gather evidence in the literature to answer the objectives. The descriptors in DeCS (Health Sciences Descriptors) were used; healthcare professionals, online education. In the databases, VHL (virtual health library), MEDLINE (National Library of Medicine of the United States of America), BDENF (Nursing Database). The inclusion criteria for the articles selected for the theoretical framework of this research were: qualitative design studies, mixed methods, descriptive, exploratory, which were published between the years five years (2018 to 2024), in Portuguese, English and Spanish , with full text available in selected electronic databases. Virtual research was carried out covering the reading, analysis and interpretation of scientific articles.
