Highlighting the monotony and loneliness associated with such a procedure, as well as the emotional challenges faced by patients. The clown therapy intervention provided a limited perception of reduced time during treatment, through playful activities such as music, films and games. Furthermore, there was an improvement in vital signs, such as heart rate, and a reduction in stress levels, demonstrating both emotional and physiological benefits. It is concluded that clown therapy is an effective intervention to improve the quality of life and emotional well-being of hemodialysis patients, in addition to raising awareness among the healthcare team about the importance of playful approaches in the hospital environment.
