This study aims to monitor the wildlife of the Luis Eduardo Sales Experimental Farm (FELEOS), located in southwestern Goiás, a strategic area for Cerrado conservation. The research seeks to assess species diversity, movement patterns, and environmental impacts using three main methodologies: camera trapping, direct observation, and active search. Camera traps will be installed at different heights and strategic locations to capture images of predators and prey, allowing for na analysis of their distribution and activity. Direct observation will enable the identification of behavioral patterns, social interactions, and movement dynamics of the species. The active search method will be employed to collect indirect evidence, such as footprints and feces, facilitating species identification and laboratory analyses of diet and parasitism.Monitoring will take place between April and July 2025, with biweekly visits for equipment maintenance and data collection. The gathered information will be organized into electronic spreadsheets and statistically analyzed to determine the relative abundance and ecological patterns of the recorded species. Beyond its significance for biodiversity conservation, this project has a strong educational focus, training students in wildlife monitoring techniques and promoting environmental awareness within the community. The expected outcomes include data to support management strategies, scientific publications, and presentations at academic events, strengthening research efforts and contributing to the preservation of Cerrado wildlife.
