: This study discusses a recurring issue in educational institutions that still receives little attention: the limitation of students' access to basic needs, such as restroom use, water access, and freedom of expression. Using a qualitative approach, based on the analysis of documents such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, as well as health reports from institutions like the Brazilian Society of Urology (SBU) and the Mayo Clinic, this work demonstrates how these restrictions negatively impact students' physical, mental, and academic health. The study highlights the need for structural changes in schools to ensure a more welcoming and respectful environment that promotes students' well-being and dignity.
