Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, driven by technological advancement, has transformed a series of dynamics, requiring law to adapt to a new digital landscape. These transformations have presented challenges such as the emergence of cybercrimes, which help in the expansion of human trafficking by facilitating the enticement and monitoring of victims. Therefore, it is evident that although technology brings benefits, it also exposes risks, such as the violation of privacy, intimacy and constitutionally guaranteed rights. This research examines how technology enables human trafficking through digital platforms for grooming and monitoring victims. Using the hermeneutic method and analysis of bibliographic and jurisprudential sources, it demonstrates the need for legislation to adapt to the new realities derived from technological advances to ensure the protection of human rights in the face of the complexity of human trafficking. It is concluded that the combination of human trafficking in the digital age demands adapted legal frameworks.
