This research aims to analyze the regulation of Artificial Intelligence in Brazil, addressing its ethical, legal, and social challenges. It seeks to understand the impacts of AI on society, the need for algorithmic transparency, and the definition of ethical boundaries for its use. Additionally, it discusses the responsibility of developers and companies in creating safe and fair technologies, as well as the challenges of implementing effective regulations amid rapid technological advancements. The study also examines the Brazilian legislative landscape, considering proposals such as Bill 2338/2023 and the Supreme Federal Court’s stance on regulating digital platforms in the country. This study employs a qualitative methodology, based on documentary analysis of legislative proposals, complemented by a bibliographic review concerning the impacts of artificial intelligence.
