EVALUATION OF CHLOROPHYLL IN SOYBEAN SUBJECTED TO ALTERNATIVE SOIL AMENDMENTS TO LIMESTONE

For good grain productivity, it is necessary to correct soil acidity, which is very common in the Brazilian agricultural scenario with the use of limestone, however, the use of alternative sources to this product has been recurrent, but by few producers, as there is not much information and guarantees from the sources mentioned above. In addition to correcting acidity, some nutrients become available and feed the vegetables. Chlorophyll, a pigment present in the chloroplast of the plant cell, helps in generating energy for the plant through the process of photosynthesis, a factor that allows the plant to develop efficiently when well stimulated, especially with sources of magnesium (Mg). Therefore, the present work aims to evaluate the chlorophyll A and B levels of soybean crops when subjected to different soil acidity correction management.
